COVID & Other Vaccine Support Guide

Suggestions for supporting your bodies and moving through negativity

    • Clear as much of your schedule as possible on the day of and after your injection(s). Alternatives:

      • Schedule your appointment for a timeframe when you have the least amount of commitment

      • Decide what is most necessary (including conversations with family/friends), and do only that.

      • Notify those with whom you are in regular contact to let them know you are taking time for your self care. Give them a timeframe for when you will be available.

    • Be in or around "nature"/"natural" landscapes (i.e., ocean, forest, mountain, etc.) that bring you joy and peace. Alternatives if physical visitation is not possible:

      • Miniature items: use smaller items as physical representation—i.e., a house plant for a forest; a bowl of water for the ocean; a mound of rocks/dirt for a mountain; etc.

      • Visual: look at still images or videos; draw pictures; ask children around you to draw pictures for you; etc.

      • Scent: utilize fragrances that remind you of "nature."

    • Eat foods that are clean and grounding.

    • Engage in some light to moderate physical activity. Give extra attention to shoulder and arm movements to support the injection site(s).

    • Give gratitude and show love to your body in other ways that are in alignment with you.

    • Say to your body out loud: "I trust your intelligence to do what is needed to receive, utilize, and integrate the vaccine; and to release anything that does not support or serve me."

    *These suggestions are based on the protocol Onyi utilized for herself to create an easeful experience when getting vaccinated. You will have whatever experience is necessary for you. Including these practices in your standard self-care routine will have positive benefits overall, with or without vaccination.

    • Identify any ways in which you are out of balance with yourself (physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually), others, and the Earth. (Use the ritual below to support your discovery. Make modifications where needed)

    • Acknowledge any ways you have/have not been taking necessary precautions and putting yourself/others at risk.

    • If you need to shift your behavior to have more consideration and integrity, then take accountability and responsibility, have grace and compassion for yourself, and set the intention to do something different.

    • Consult with practitioners—whether holistic, naturopathic, traditional or conventional—that will advise you with neutrality and support you in whatever choice you make. Highlighted practitioner for this guide: Kyona Beatty of ky-veda (Ayurveda & Yoga support)

    • *Utilize plants, herbs, vitamins, supplements, and other items that support the immune system and overall health, and provide ease around fear and anxiety. Some suggestions for consideration and to research:

    • Pray for the ability to: (1) Trust yourself, your body's intelligence, and your ability to learn from the choices you make; and (2) Use anything/everything that happens (no matter what) for a positive benefit.

    • Get energy and/or body work done regularly for general wellness, specific support around COVID and other challenges or conditions.

    • Listen to soothing sounds/music. Suggestions:

  • For support if there is not much clarity and/or you are experiencing negativity (i.e., fear, anxiety, etc.) about the decision that comes to you (in either direction).

    Step 1

    Take a candle, clear glass full of water, pen and paper to a quiet and peaceful location inside/outside your home.

    Step 2

    Sit on the ground or in a chair with your feet planted firmly on the ground. Take 3 sets of deep breaths and say a prayer for clarity and illumination.

    Step 3

    With the candle lit and next to the glass of water, look into the glass and say out loud:

    Body, reveal to me in a clear way any negativity I am holding onto around getting/not getting* the vaccine. (*you can say both or pick the one that elicits the most/strongest negativity)

    Step 4

    Take another 3 sets of deep breaths and then write down everything that comes to you.

    Step 5

    Repeat steps 3 and 4, replacing the word "body" with "heart", "mind", and "spirit."

    Step 6

    With one hand on your head and one hand on your heart, say out loud: "I am powerful. I make decisions from a place of peace and trust. I am grateful for the ability to choose what I prefer. I am in command of my existence."

    Step 7

    Take 3 sets of deep breaths, blow out the candle, and pour the water onto the Earth.
